NatureSweet® Tomatoes is proud to receive a Leadership 500 Excellence Award for the fourth consecutive year, in the category of outstanding achievements in human capital development fostered by the leadership development business model, Unleashing the Power of People (UPoP). This year, NatureSweet received seven awards for programs derived from UPoP, including: Powerful Brand Immersion, Best Use of Teamwork and Best Global Leadership Program, among others.
NatureSweet designed its UPoP model for associate training and development. The program is composed of a carefully crafted talent selection and management process that ensures current and prospective associates are aligned with the brand's commitment to having a positive social, environmental and economic impact on the communities in which it serves.
NatureSweet is giving consumers a detailed, authentic look into their growing practices and the company's mission of UPoP through its "Tomatoes Raised Right" campaign. At the heart of the campaign are the company's dedicated Associates who control every step of the growing process. It starts with the best seeds that are nurtured throughout the greenhouse-grown process by Associates who handpick the tomatoes off the vine at the peak of freshness to provide consumers with high-quality tomatoes all year long.
