As many are aware, the Russian embargo had a very big effect on the entire fruit and vegetable trade, and transport was no exception. Daniel Buneta, Director, confirmed that they have seen a rise in exports to and from Serbia.
"It's simple to focus on one market, like Poland did with Russia, but the danger is that once that market falls away you are left with nothing. If you can sell to one country, why wouldn't you try to sell to other countries as well? Now you see other countries which are still allowed to ship to Russia doing the same thing as Poland, but time will tell what will happen there. The embargo has been good for our company, especially due to our location. We have a lot of shipments that are sent from Italy to Serbia, and I suspect that some of these goods are still ending up in Russia one way or another," said Daniel
