Packaging to keep aromatic herbs in perfect condition

It is a new concept that is characterised by guaranteeing the product's freshness, being very light and ensuring a shelf life of 3 to 4 days in optimal conditions. The container is made of perforated plastic and a has a lid that allows the consumer to open and close it as many times as needed without the quality of the herbs being affected.

In recent years, there has been a considerable increase in the consumption of this type of product. This is due to the greater availability of information for consumers and the popularization of recipes from different parts of the world, like Italy. "Basil, sage or rosemary for cooking, and peppermint for beverages, are products that are increasingly demanded by consumers," explains Siro Ricci, manager at Az. Agr. Ricci Siro and Figli. This trend has made companies such as Az. Agr. Ricci Siro and Figli consider the need to improve the conditions in which they offer their products. For this reason, they will soon begin to market this new packaging, which, for now, will only be launched in Italy.
