Silvan Logistics opens new refrigerated warehouse

Transport and logistic company from Poznań - Silvan Logistics - has signed a long-term warehouse rental agreement. The cutting-edge facility located in Gądki, near the main transport interchange, expedites efficient logistic customer services for partners from Poland and abroad. The warehouse starts off on 1st April, 2017.

"This is a significant investment we have been striving for a long time." says Michał Bidziński, Silvan Logistics COB "We are expanding rapidly and the refrigerated warehouse is the next crucial element in the comprehensive logistic services offered to our clients."

"The warehouse of near 5,000 m2 opens for our clients in April this year. The building is adapted for storage of various goods, either food and industrial products. Ultimately, 1,000 m2 are dedicated to a temperature controlled storage within 0/+4°C and +8/+12°C. The rest is intended for a dry storage. However, as we were told by the representatives of Silvan Logistics, the capacity of storage could be adjusted to the clients individual needs."

What is more, the facility is a distribution warehouse. Services include the entire logistics process - short-term storage, long-term storage, transshipment, cross-docking, sorting and picking, labeling and co-packing.

The warehouse is equipped with 13 loading platforms and will be open twenty-four-hours, seven days a week. It is located near the A2 highway, which facilitates logistic processes and customer services for domestic and foreign clients.
