Kanzi campaign successful with Europeans

"Twenty million more people reached with our campaign”"

Both consumers and the trade are well-acquainted with the Kanzi Guy by now. “The campaign has been very successful, results are far better than expected. Our aim was to reach about 55 million European consumers in the 2016/17 season, and by now we have reached 20 million more. And we are still counting, because the season is not yet over. We are therefore very happy with this result. We are one of the fastest growing apple brands worldwide,” Henry Müller, CEO of GKE, happily explains.

Innumerable positive responses
He continues: “In less than four months after the launch our campaign videos reached 75 million consumers. Twenty million of those watched the video all the way to the end. Besides, we have 15,000 new subscribers for our YouTube channel, 10,000 shares and innumerable positive responses to the Kanzi videos! Our videos were even parodied, that is how popular they were. According to marketing experts, that is one of the clear signs that a video is effective. The Kanzi campaign is very successful with Europeans.”

Besides consumer responses, the videos and the success of Kanzi were also noticed by the press and trade. “We were very present at trade fairs, so that many people had the opportunity to meet the Kanzi Guy. We are looking forward to the remainder of the season with much positivity. Let’s see what spring has in store for us!”

Organic
Kanzi organic is also growing, although less obviously, in Europe. “We recently signed a contract with a new partner in New Zealand who will cultivate many hectares of organic Kanzi. In addition, we have a new partner in Chile. The organic share in Europe is still limited, it is bigger outside of Europe. The largest share of the New Zealand harvest will be sent to the US. For that matter, we are also experiencing a growth in South Africa. The interest in organic cultivation is increasing considerably.”
