Moroccan bell peppers available when the domestic is expensive

"Moroccan bell peppers sell well, even though they are inevitably not as fresh as the peppers from Almeria, as they take at least two days to arrive," explains Manuel Fernández, commercial manager at the Business Trading Green. He affirms that now is "when we can bring them with some margin, since the price of the domestic product is high and we can still earn something."

For now, the volume prospects are relative, since everything depends on the price of the domestic product in the market. And after the bad weather of recent weeks, this has obviously become more expensive, giving Moroccan bell peppers a chance to gain ground in the market. Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic are the countries importing it, purchasing it mainly in bulk.
