Manter presents new weigher

Those curious about the latest development of Manter in the field of weighing can view the new M16iV during Fruit Logistica 2017. This RVS weigher has been specially developed to weigh both dry and wet products at high speeds.

The products are transported to the weighing bins by means of vibrating belts. For this reason, and because the weigher has been constructed from a strong frame, the weigher is excellently suited for products such as potatoes, short carrots, onions, and additionally, various types of fruit and vegetables, including tomatoes. The weigher has been designed to protect the product as much as possible. Optional dosing valves, for example, prevent mostly round products from dropping. Besides, the weighing bins are V-shaped, so that the product has a minimum fall.

As many as sixteen weighers guarantee a high accuracy and large processing capacity in this weighing machine. The weigher has a speed of more than 80 kilogram bags per minute. The speed of this weighing machine can be adjusted by means of the 15” touch screen, and the machine’s added network. Because of this network it is possible to see and change the settings of the machine from a distance, with the use of your own laptop or computer.
