China: Shenzhen was the largest fruit import harbour in 2016

According to statistics of the Shenzhen customs, the Shenzhen customs border region received 882,000 tons of fruit from trade agreements. This is an increase of 9% compared to the same time last year. The value of the goods received reaches up to 13.52 billion RMB, which is a 27.6% increase compared to the same period last year. The tax payments on that amount are 2.32 billion RMB, good for an increase of 22.4%. The value of the fruits received in this period are good for 50% of the total received value in China. This makes it the number-one harbour in China.
