Cees van Vugt and Jeffrey Moret start TOFF

Cees van Vugt and Jeffrey Moret have started with TOFF (The Organic Fresh Factory). After more than two years flying the flag of Marni Fruit while working at Marni Organics, the men have bought the shares of the company. They will remain working from the same building with use of the logistical facilities and the current collaboration maintained. 

“At TOFF we wholly focus ourselves on the completely organic fresh produce sector. For this we aim at retail on a national and international level with which we create season programmes as well as wholesalers, who can order their mixed packages daily,” says Jeffrey. “With a new CRM package we hope to get more insights into how we can offer our clients the best of organic potatoes, vegetables, and fruits.”

“The organic market is still growing significantly, but the acreages worldwide are increasing, especially in countries such as Spain and Italy. That is why our focus will be more on the package from overseas, to keep distinguishing ourselves. This mainly includes apples and pears from the southern hemisphere,” says Jeffrey. “In addition, we will be busy with organic fruits and vegetables from the Netherlands and we would like to intensify our relationship with our greenhouse producers.”

“We are growing fast and that is why we can give this expansion a new, own identity. Our team has expanded as well, since we welcomed Loes Verblaauw to our midst. We have a lot of faith in a great collaboration with existing and new relationships,” Jeffrey concludes.
