VDH The Freight Managers: A new name in the world of transport
Four renowned transport companies are going to work together even more intensely than before. From 1 January 2017, A. van Dongen & Heerschap, Heestermans Logistiek, Fruit Forwarders and VDC Logistics will be working together under one umbrella name: VDH The Freight Managers.
The four companies who will be going forward under one new name have already been working together for a long time. Combined, they cover the entire supply chain from dispatch department to delivery all over the world. Because the activities of these four companies overlap in various fields, and because the management wants to emphasise the extensive offer of services and total unburdening, they have chosen to better and more visibly combine forces. This will express itself in a new name and a new slogan. The name VDH has its origins in the names of Van Dongen and Heestermans. The slogan, The Freight Managers, emphasises the complete unburdening of the entire logistics process.
The core activities of VDH The Freight Managers consist of customs, forwarding, warehousing, logistics and transport. These activities are divided between four warehouses in the Netherlands, various offices and agencies globally, an own fleet and a great number of supplementary services and facilities. A complete list of activities of VDH The Freight Managers can be found at www.vdhcompany.com.
