New 100% organic space to open in Toulouse’s wholesale market

Spreading over 20 hectares, Toulouse’s wholesale market is the 2nd largest in France after Rungis. It welcomes over 400 producers who supply food produce to the markets, restaurants and shops of nine departments in the Toulouse region. The market sells seafood, meat, fruits, vegetables, plants, flowers and soon a 100% organic aisle.

ProNatura, producers of organic fruit and vegetables, has announced that they will open the the largest platform in the South West (1,200m2) on the 25th January. ProNatura said that the South West is an important production and consumption region that has a high development potential with it’s almost 7,000 hectares of organic, or converting to organic, acreage. They are proud of their quality, freshness, traceability and services, “We can say in real time from which producer the product comes, including which plot, with a perfect regularity of supplies and a high quality with no intermediary for even more freshness”, says Karon Cliquot, Manager of the Toulouse site.

ProNatura will offer over 300 seasonal products, dried fruits, exclusively organic or in the process of converting to organic products and exotic fruits straight from their international branches on the Toulouse wholesale market.
