China: Shanxi apples to US

A few days ago, after passing the tests of the Shanxi Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, and receiving a Vegetation Inspection Certificate, 44 tons of Shanxi apples started out on their journey to New York in the US.

This marks the first export of Shanxi apples to the US market. The US is a high-end international fruit market, with one of the most strict and demanding inspection and quarantine regulations in the world. After confirmation of the US approval for import, the Shanxi Quarantine and Inspection Bureau issued a Vegetation Inspection Certificate for the Shanxi apples for export to the US.
It is a historical breakthrough for Shanxi apples into the international, high-end export market. The next step is export to Los Angeles in the US and Melbourne in Australia!
