China: Zhangzhou city's new harvest leeks go to Japan

On December 27th in 2016, a batch of preserved leeks, weighing 16 tons and valued at up to 2.72 million USD, successfully passed through the Inspection and Quarantine offices in Zhangzhou (in Fujian province), before being sent off to Japan. This batch of leeks was produced by Jinrong Fruits and Vegetables Ltd. in Zhangzhou, and is the first batch to be exported since the beginning of the new harvesting season.
