Learned from an Indian exporter, this year the supply and demand of India papaya are well-matched in growth. Although demand is affected by the 500 and 1000 rupees, yet the domestic consumption of papaya is still quite strong. Indian consumers have realized the nutritional value of papaya, the demand for high-quality papaya is increasing.

For papaya growers and exporters, 2016 is a harvest year. The increasing project of Papaya production has risen the planting area by 5% to 10%. The total production should be increased by at least 10% since January.
