China: The biggest pumpkin in Qingdao city

"This is only one of the highlights from our technology demonstration base of modern agriculture." Said Mr. Li Feng. This year we built a base covering 1,500 square meter, split into 4 parts: technological plantation zone, Jibo premium product zone, hydroponic vegetable zone and the zone of planting southern region fruits in northern regions. They cover the following functions: new and quality products plantation, local premium products demonstration, new model planning and equipment promotion.

The demonstration base has introduced over 60 varieties including healthy vegetables, southern fruits and flowers etc. Equipped with a modern agriculture, internet of things, system, they can realize functions such as production information, collecting and remote intelligent control etc. By implementing hydroponic and substrate plantation models, they can improve the efficiency level of space usage and product quality. Moreover they have demonstrated 7 reputable agricultural products from special regions such as ginger, celery, and rice etc.
