China: First fruit charter flight arrives at Guangzhou

At 2am on December 1, 2016, the first Chilean fruit charter flight arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun, International Airport. Upon arrival, the Guangzhou Airport Inspection and Quarantine Bureau completed the inspection and quarantine processes successfully. The flight carried a total of 100 tons of fresh fruit from Chile, including 70 tons of cherries and 30 tons of blueberries. This was the first fruit charter flight to arrive at the airport, and Mr. Chenghai, the party secretary and director of the airport, and deputy director Mr. Zheng Junxian were on hand to supervise the on-site inspection work.
