China: 50% of fruit imports come through Shenzhen

Statistics from the Inspection and Quarantine services in Shenzhen show that during the past 10 months of 2016, 935,500 tons of fruit coming from 28 different countries and regions have entered the country through Shenzhen. Their combined value was estimated at 1,991,000,000 RMB (272,806,820 EUR). Compared to last year, that showed an increase of 10,39% and 13,24% respectively. All quotas have reached all-time high values. The value of fruits that are imported via the Shenzhen trading post are the number one in China and account for approximately half of total fruit imports into the country.
