Thanks to seedless table grape performances, Ilenio Bastioni announced a +49% monthly turnover with respect to the previous year. Apofruit's director reports that "Solarelli is our high-quality brand and is doing really well. During this season, the products part of the brand are seedless table grapes, pomegranates, apples and pears. The reference apple variety is Fuji, while the reference pear variety is Decana.

"Also, thanks to our new packaging, the seedless grape quantities sold in Italy have increased fivefold. This type of grape is already popular abroad, while Italy is discovering it now. Our breeders - Sun World, IGF and SNFL - have varieties for all kinds of markets. In Italy, for example, "almost-white" grapes are not as popular as in the UK, as people tend to prefer a more golden colour."

During the first 10 months of the year, the turnover increased by 4% and volumes by 7%. Between January and October, the turnover exceeded €13 million for a total volume of 7400 tons.
Promotion is carried out also via Facebook and Youtube. A good video was shot during Macfrut with the help of Alimos. Le Chicche are protagonists of a show cooking event with poetry and short stories.
