Arrigoni, who attended Eima 2016 (the International Agriclutural and Gardening Machinery Exhibition held in Bologna between 9th and 13th November) as an exhibitor, reported having a lot of extra-European contacts.

"Usually, we meet our European clients in other fairs such as IPM, Fruit Logistica and GreeTech. This time, we met a lot of people from the Arab Countries as well as Central and South America." The company specialises in nets, films and covers for orchards.
"Arab countries require mainly shading and anti-insect nets, which are also very popular in Central and Latin America. Eastern European countries require mainly anti-hail nets."

"A few years ago, we also started selling a special nets to close greenhouses (side walls). It looks like a plastic film but lets through sunlight and air and blocks insects. We are developing this concept to further improve the amount of air and sunlight let through."
