Isobar and Isocab start joint venture Isocab-Isobar

Earlier in the year, Isocab and Isobar announced they were in talks to start a possible cooperation. In recent months, these talks have led to a new partnership ISOCAB-ISOBAR, on 1 November 2016, and which houses the production of cooling cells, insulated doors and panels and all of the subsequent activities that were previously done separately by Isocab and Isobar. Isocab-Isobar is located in Beveren-Leie at the current location of Isobar.

The joining of both companies will not have consequences for the employment of the workers concerned. On November 1, they will join the new company. The talks with the unions about the terms of employment are in full swing by now, and are being held in a constructive atmosphere.

Earlier, we announced that the production activities of Isocab in France will not become part of Isocab-Isobar. The production of Ecohome, however, will be part of the new company. Customers and suppliers have been informed about the joint venture by now.

Isocab-Isobar’s management team consists of Pol Bouckaert (Sales & Marketing), Rik Bouckaert (Operations & Purchase), Jeroen Vanluchene (Finance) and a general manager who is currently being recruited.
