Grand opening Chinese fresh produce show

China FVF opens in Beijing

Beijing is currently the scene of the 8th China FVF fresh produce show. The show opened yesterday, October 30th, and will be on until the afternoon of Tuesday November the 1st.

A crowd of domestic exhibitors and a number of international organisations have signed up. It possible to explore apples, pears, vegetables and other fresh crops from Hebei, Shandong, Tianjin and a host of other provinces. In addition, it is possible to meet with delegations of experts, growers and representatives from Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, the US France, Poland, the Middle East and Egypt.

During the first day, a number of lectures were staged which covered developments in the domestic market. In addition, an educational forum has been organised to give visitors the opportunity to get up to date with the apple, citrus, pear and berry industry. The opening ceremony was hosted by Mr. Wang Junbing, Secretary General of the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Association. Finally, the afternoon was filled with B2B business matchings that connected local buyers to foreign suppliers and vice versa.
