Banana prices have been falling for a month.

In Hubei province, banana prices have been falling for 4 weeks. In Wuhan local markets, domestic bananas are sold at less than 6 Yuan per kilo. It is expected that the fall will continue as the banana peak season arrives. According to some fruit sellers, the cold weather makes banana storage easier and longer, therefore the banana price continues to drop.
