Once again, on September 23, 2016 the Kronen customer day took place – as usual in connection with the international Kronen representatives meeting on 21 and 22 September. More than 170 interested visitors from over 40 countries accepted the invitation to come to Kehl am Rhein.
During live performances, the various processing possibilities for salads, vegetables, fruit were presented by the Kronen product experts.

AMS 220 Pineapple & melon peeler

Visitors could experience impressively optimized processes: from preparing and sorting through cutting, washing, de-watering and drying up to the packaging of the products - everything from a single source. In addition, plenty of time remained for answering questions and discussion with the experts.

During the day, the visitors enjoyed delicious tapas and freshly prepared organic burgers by a modern food truck "Grill & Chill". A special attraction was a free shoe cleaning action which was very much appreciated.

Sunny autumn weather and interesting encounters and conversations in a relaxed atmosphere rounded off the successful event. Stephan Zillgith, Managing Director of Kronen GmbH, comes to a positive conclusion when looking back: ''The events were a huge success overall. High level of automation, K 650 Spin dryer
At the traditional family day on the following Saturday, the Kronen management invited all employees with their families and friends for insights into the company with a colourful program. More than 200 employees and families participated in the offered machine demonstrations, tour companies and an attractive children's program with air balloon competition, face painting, petting zoo, bunjee jumping, shoe cleaning action and more.
With this year’s family day, AOK health insurance was represented with an information stand for the first time. As a special attraction, each participant could determine his biological age with a Bio-Aging-Bike. A coordinating course and delicious, healthy smoothies complemented the AOK program.
Expert discussions at Tona Rapid cutting machine
Interest ensured the presentation of a Renault electric vehicle as well a presentation of the latest solar technology.
The very positive feedback of all guests confirmed the concept of the Kronen inhouse exhibition which is organized once every two years.
