The KCB onion export figures, published this week, show that Dutch onion exports broke a record in week 35. Including the prior-year costs - important as they aren't presented as such - an export of 31,242 tonnes was realised in week 35. According to exporter, Jaap Wiskerke, they had often been close to this export volume in recent years, but never actually achieved it. The export was also a total record for the period from week 27 to 35.
