Vision Produce expands into the melon deal
“In keeping with our mantra, Your Direct Link to the Grower, we added programs on melons from Mexico a couple of years ago,” says Donald Souther, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing with Vision Produce.
“This winter season, we have additional growers from Mexico for Cants, Dews and Watermelons plus programs from Central America arriving to both East Coast and West Coast.”
To assist with Sales and Marketing, Vision Produce Company has added three industry veterans to its staff to strategically continue growth in this category.

Bob Valenzuela, Darrin Wadman and Sergio Lozano, bring many years of Melon category experience to the team and will help link the company’s growers to retail, foodservice and wholesale accounts. “We will continue to expand on our ‘La Vision Brand’ with our direct grower sourcing,” added Souther.
