Tozer Seeds presents Buttonhole kale in Madrid

The international seed producer TOZER SEEDS has chosen the Innova Forum at Fruit Attraction to showcase its latest innovation to the horticultural sector: Buttonhole Kale, a brand-new variety of kale (a curly cabbage) which, in contrast to traditional varieties, features large leaves enveloping a central heart in an eye-catching purple colour.

The fact is that this new vegetable, which today is produced in the United Kingdom, with a season that runs from August to November, unites the characteristics of different brassicas. To date, the product has only been launched in the UK this last season through Staples, being stocked by Marks & Spencer. However, the excellent response from British consumers has engendered great growth expectations, so TOZER SEEDS will continue working to meet their customers’ demands. “This is a really attractive product in terms of both flavour and appearance, and it offers numerous cooking options,” says Rogers. Visitors will be able to attest to this first hand, and for the first time in Spain, with two different recipes using Buttonhole Kale, devised especially for the occasion, and which are also available on the company’s website:http://www.tozerseeds.com.
