Huge crowd at Fruit Attraction

The first day of the Fruit Attraction 2016 drew a huge crowd. During the first few hours after opening, some stands were still being built or decorated, but most of the participating companies were ready in time for the opening. Both exhibitors and visitors are positive about the atmosphere, the conversations, the tapas and the contacts. Besides a growing number of exhibitors, more and more visitors from the sector attend the smaller version of the Fruit Logistica, which is also called ‘Little Berlin’ . This is the eighth edition of Fruit Attraction. It is remarkable that the audience is becoming more international each year. The aisles were mostly dominated by Spaniards only a few years ago, now you can meet visitors from all over the world.

Fruit Attraction can still be visited on 6 and 7 October. Huge crowds are also expected to attend today.

The official opening of this edition took place on 6 April, by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Isabel García Tejerina, and other members of the Fruit Attraction and IFEMA.

Claudine Beldman, Freshplaza and Kees Kooijman, manager of Verdi, yesterday.

Freshplaza/AGF/Primeur also has a stand at the Fruit Attraction. Come and say hello, have a drink and a chat, and take a free copy of the special edition of Primeur Fruit Attraction! We can be found at stand 8F03D, between halls 6 and 8. Other colleagues are walking around taking photographs for the photo report, which will be published on Monday 10 October.
