Watch for Fresh Solutions Network’s new convenience line of potatoes at this year’s PMA show!
Fresh Solutions Network, LLC (FSN), is a group of family-owned growers and shippers, working together to make the potato and onion industry better for everyone. FSN operates on a national level, while each Network partner maintains its individual identity and thus, regional relevance, within the industry. “Over the past year, we have continued to drive product innovation and solidify our position as the convenience segment leader in the fresh potato category,” said Kathleen Triou, President & CEO.
Several new product lines will be on display at this year’s show: Side Delights(r) Farmer’s Table(r) organic potatoes, Side Delights(r) Gourmet Petite mesh bags, Side Delights(r) Hispanic line of potatoes in bi-lingual bags and Side Delights(r) Salt house(r) potatoes for the best salt potatoes on the market. Additionally, FSN submitted a new convenience product line, Side Delights(r) Flavorables(r), to the PMA Product Impact Award judging and has advanced to the semi-finals. All of FSN’s potatoes are non-GMO.
Last year, FSN launched its Side Delights(r) Roastables(r) line. This three-item line offers triple-washed petite potatoes in an oven/grill ready metal tin, accompanied with seasonings from their exclusive seasonings partner, Montana Mex.
Chef Edward Garcia, from Montana Mex, will be at FSN’s booth conducting cooking demos of the Roastables line. Demonstration times will take place at 11am and 2pm on Saturday, and 11am on Sunday. “We’re excited to have Chef Garcia cooking up our Roastable Potatoes along with other items that will become instant tailgate favourites” said Triou.
