Nergi® baby kiwis now available in supermarkets

This is the second year of the commercialisation of Nergi® baby fruit in Italy. Not only have more hectares been planted, but its distribution has also been increased.

The fruit will be available in supermarkets in north-west, north-east regions and central Italy. In addition to 125 gram punnets, 90 gram snack&go packets are also available.

The fruit will be available until early November and 600 thousand punnets are expected to be handled in 2016.

This small fruit is cultivated in Europe on 170 hectares located mainly in Italy, France and Portugal.

So far, the feedback has been very good. Not only is it grown in Italy, but it is tasty and healthy. In addition, it is very practical to carry around, thanks to the punnets, and there is no need to peel it. Just like with cherries, you could eat one after the other.

The recommended price for supermarkets is €2-2.30 for the 125 gram punnet.
