Spain: Presentation of gin made from strawberries

Fresón de Palos and Rives have finalised a co-branding initiative which will lead to the manufacture and marketing of the Pink Rives gin - recommended to be served with slices of fresh strawberries.

Pink Rives is made from premium quality ingredients, characterised by a unique freshness, making the product stand out as an authentic strawberry-flavoured gin. The product will be introduced into distribution channels over the coming days and is already available in large retail chains.

The Rives group is a leader in the manufacture and distribution of distilled drinks. It is based in El Puerto de Santa María, in the Spanish province of Cadiz, where it has a unique distillery, featuring an alcohol treatment plant with rectification towers that are over thirty metres high, a two hundred year -old, large capacity, copper alembic still (produced by Augusto Haupold) for seed distillation, as well as facilities for water treatment by reverse osmosis. For its part, Fresón de Palos is based in Palos de la Frontera, Huelva, and is the European leader in the sector, with more than seventy million kilos sold each season and with the most recognised brand by Spanish consumers.

In short, it is a new launch resulting from the collaboration of two strong Andalusian companies, which share a commitment to combining tradition and innovation as the key to success.
