It is known that Anyang Inspection & Quarantin Bureau has cooperated with Neihuang County government and other relevant departments to promote the establishment of safety demonstration areas for export agriculture products. Thus a series of systems are gradually built up, including the product safety standards, disease control and prevention, agricultural chemistry control, quality tracing system and enterprise quality standards, and the first national level chilli pepper demonstration zone is successfully established in Neihuang county in Henan province.
The establishment of this demonstration zone not only guarantees the quality of chilli peppers from its origin, but also lowers the quality inspection cost for export enterprises within this area. All these factors make Neihuang chilli peppers more competitive in the international market. So far Neihuang county has exported 42 batches of its chilli peppers, with a revenue of 1,624,700 US dollars.
