Fruit quality data tool on display at World Food Expo

The F-750 Produce Quality Meter—a near infrared spectrometer which takes instantaneous readings of brix and dry matter – will be showcased at the World Food Expo. “This tool quickly and accurately guides the pre- and post-harvest decision making of farmers, packers, and handlers by providing usable fruit quality data on demand,” explains Leonard Felix, president of Felix Instruments. A mainstay for the Australian Mango Industry, the F-750 is used by growers to determine fruit maturity and to pinpoint ideal harvest time, both maximizing quality and increasing customer satisfaction.

“As the global community works to address issues of world hunger and staggering food waste, Felix Instruments is proud to offer the fresh produce industry a line of instruments that promote quality and increase shelf-life,” says Leonard.

Visit Felix Instruments, at the World Food Expo (WOFEX) this August 3-6, 2016 in the Philippines. Mr. Felix will be available for demonstrations by appointment at the U.S. Pavilion.
