GemüseTV: new, fresh recipes with Swiss vegetables

There is no shortage of new ideas for fresh vegetables. The ‘Verband Schweizer Gemüseproduzenten’ (the bond of Swiss vegetable producers) recorded several classics, but also some recipes, for the website ‘GemüseTV.’ The films are presented by either blogger Zoe Torinesi or veggie chef Pascal Haag, who personally developed the recipes for GemüseTV.

The world of vegetables offers much flavour and the necessary colours and vitamins on our plates. For example, in the spring we are offered a rhubarb tiramisu, in summer a refreshing cucumber smoothie, during the barbecue season organic, grilled vegetables, or in autumn mashed apple or lentils with parsnip – GemüseTV shows both old and new recipes.

Blogger Zoe Torinesi, who cooks her own menus on www.cookinesi.com, presents the recipes with Swiss vegetables and shows how quickly and easily they can be prepared. Veggie chef and recipe developer Pascal Haag (www.pascalhaag.ch) takes his recipes in the direction of the gourmet kitchen, and uses his contributions to show how easy it is to cook tasty, innovative recipes for your guests without too much effort. He personally developed the recipes for GemüseTV and the ‘Verband Schweizer Gemüseproduzenten,’ and these can also be found at www.gemuese.ch/rezepte.

New: bilingual and short films
Since the start of this season the website of GemüseTV is bilingual, showing the films in both German and French. Those interested can find, besides recipes, in-depth reports, for example about greenhouse production, how spinach ends up in the supermarket freezer or about outdoor vegetable cultivation.

The concept of the films was revised this year. The films are easier, shorter and trendier now.
