When automatically weighing and packaging fruit and vegetable products, productivity and cost saving are the main aspects. However, the treatment of the (delicate) product must not be forgotten. An apple can't bruise, a long pear or carrot can't break or get stuck, a nectarine or tomato has to be treated carefully during the weighing and packaging process and a celeriac can't get stuck in the scales. Other products are hard and can handle a 'bump'.
Because the Sorma Group has a very wide range of scales, a suitable scale can be recommended for every situation. Sorma produces the machines themselves. This range of scales runs from the PC scales, which which blueberries and charry tomatoes are processed, to the G range of scales, with which large potatoes and even celeriac can be weighed.
