McDonald’s France launches 100% eco-friendly apple sachets

Since the end of June, all “P’tite Pomme” (little apple) sachets in all McDonald’s restaurants across France have a new packaging featuring the "Eco-friendly Orchards" logo.

McDonald’s explains that the “Eco-friendly Orchards” quality chart guarantees “a responsible and environmentally friendly production ethic”. 1,200 apple producers in France respect the “Eco-friendly Orchards” quality chart.

The orchards are protected using biological control methods or certified techniques from organic and conventional farming, if more pertinent.

Florette Food Service, McDonald’s long-term fruit supplier, supplies these 100% French apples from “Eco-friendly Orchards”.
