Mysterious virus forces tennis champion to eat organic lettuce

Tennis player and former Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli says she has a rare viral infection. According to the champion she is hypersensitive to electric appliances, including her phone, and her digestion can only digest organic lettuce. According to experts, there is no known virus causing similar symptoms. Bartoli says she caught the virus in India.

“I am forced to eat organic lettuce with peeled cucumber, because my body cannot digest the skin,” Bartoli notified British media. “I can be on my phone no longer than five minutes, because my heartbeat quickens. Every time I do anything, I am worried how my body will react.”

Although there are viral infections that affect the nervous system, experts agree that, as far as they know, there are no viruses that quicken your heartbeat when on the phone. And a virus knowing the difference between organic and conventional is highly unlikely.
