Aldi Nord invests in fairtrade

As of July 14 2016 Aldi Nord customers can look forward to a versatile supply of fairtrade certified products. Besides the fairtrade products from the standard assortment, various fair trade items will be offered from that date.

For a number of years Aldi Nord has offered various fairtrade products with organic coffee, organic bananas, juice, flower honey and organic chocolate milk. With yoga attire and bedding, non-food products will once again be offered from fair trade, in the framework of 'Aldi current'. These offer items are produced with certified fairtrade cotton.

So that customers can recognise the fairtrade products at a glance, the own brand 'FAIR' was developed. This brand is always combined with the international fair trade brand, which guarantees that the cultivation and further development of the products meet the international fair trade standard.
