The volume shipped to the British market increased by 139%, as it went from 222 tons in January-April last year to 530 tons in the same months of 2016.

In addition, according to the projections of the Kantar Worldpanel consulting firm, which specializes in the analysis of consumer behavior, the British blueberry market grew by 25% and surpassed the $355 million dollars in 2015.

The leading blueberry importing companies in the UK were Angus Soft Fruits, Direct Product Supplies, TPH, and Berry Gardens.
