According to the average price indicated by Agriculture Food Agency, Council of Agriculture, banana prices decreased from 57.33 TWD in March to 18.12 TWD per kilo in June, hitting a record 70% drop.

Based on the estimate of Council of Agriculture, dragon fruit, pineapple, banana and guava volumes will increase 20% to 40% due to extreme weather conditions this year, therefore their prices are expected to be more affordable in the future.
