Playful promotion for CherryStar

If customers buy a pallet of CherryStar from BelOrta during weeks 26 to 30, they can win various prizes. They will receive a unique code for every pallet of CherryStar bought (144 packages/432 kilograms). “Not just the large customers are in for a chance, the smaller customers can also win. For example, if you buy half a pallet on day one, and another half pallet on day two, those two halves are added together to make one pallet. A code is drawn every week, and a winner chosen. So every week for five weeks, customers can win prizes,” according to Sofie Lambrecht



Extra attention for CherryStar
“The producers of CherryStar asked us for a fun promotion for this tomato. Customers do not need to register for this. Everyone takes part in the competition no matter what. Prizes include an espresso machine, four tickets to a football match, four tickets to go go-kart racing with your team, and a hover board.”




Other tomato promotions
Several promotions are being held for ‘regular’ tomatoes as well. “Last week we visited wholesaler’s Rungis in Paris with nine cultivators and three employees to put the spotlight on the BelOrta tomato and to hand them out. Responses were very positive. Besides, the tomato gamut of BelOrta is also regularly seen on TV due to a commercial. This will be broadcast on several channels again in several weeks’ time.”
