Russian company creating art out of fruit

Russian company Frutti Flowerswas born back in 2013 when Yana Krylova saw a bouquet made of fruit on anAmerican website and decided that it would be perfect for the Russian market. At that time, very few people had ever heard of such a thing, but the companyis on a mission to change this.

Most of the business dealsin fruit bouquets and baskets, which can be created in all shapes and sizes, leaving it up to the customer’s imagination. They have made them in the form ofcompany logos, animals and even spaceships. At least half of the orders arefrom significant others and the rest are evenly split amongst birthdays, weddings and corporate gifts.

“We have a master carverfor our watermelon designs and all of the shapes in our bouquets are also madeby hand. This may not be the quickest way of processing fruit, but we arewilling to take the time for a good result.” Shared Krylova.

“Our service has alsobecome popular for weddings. Brides and grooms often buy the bouquets for table decorations or as a nice gift for guests. We are flexible in fitting our clients needs andif the couple wants a big strawberry heart or wedding rings made from apineapple, then we will make it happen.”

The most common fruits usedare oranges, grapefruit, apples, melon, pineapples, grapes, strawberries andchocolate. Every morning fresh fruits are brought from a large warehouse whereemployees source only the best quality and make their bouquets fresh for thatday. Due to the perishable nature of the product, they currently deliver withinthe city of St. Petersburg and the surrounding area.

“The market in our countryis still in development, but we hope to see growth continue in the future.” ConcludedKrylova.
