Medjool brand launches “My First Date” consumer video sweepstakes

Medjool date brand, Natural Delights™ launches a national consumer video story sweepstakes called “My First Date.” 



The “My First Date” consumer promotion encourages date fans to create and submit a video story about their first experience with the product or story related to Medjool Dates. The video must show Natural Delights packaging or product in a recognizable way and can be no longer than 60 seconds. Prize packages include GoPro Hero4 cameras, Fandango movie tickets and lots of Natural Delights product.

“According to Nielsen, 92% of consumers believe recommendations from friends and family over all forms of advertising. We have found that this type of word-of-mouth promotion not only helps increase consumption, but also new trial from shoppers who have never enjoyed our products before,” says Erin Hanagan-Muths, Director of Marketing, Bard Valley Date Growers. 

The consumer promotion will run from September 1, 2016 – October 31, 2016.
