London Produce Show highlights innovation from Holland

Holland is the featured nation at this year's London Produce Show and Conference and the seminar session on stage 1 begins with a series of speakers who will highlight some of the innovation that drives the Dutch produce industry. Every concept and practice they will talk about has one objective in mind - to increase the global consumer's daily intake of fresh produce.

Holland- Learn From the World Leaders
The LPS16 Holland Fresh seminar programme kicks off at 10.00 on June 9, 2016, on the Great Room Balcony of Grosvenor House on London's Park Lane.

10.45 - Mini-Vegetables Under the Microscope
Yvonne Vanlier, Marketing and Communications Manager of Greenco
Yvonne discusses their healthy snack options for people on the go, during sports, at school, and at work, and how they can help people to meet the recommended daily 5-a-day fresh produce target

11.10 - lovemysalad.com
Maarten van der Leeden, Rijk Zwaan's Account Manager for Retail & Trade in Holland
Maarten showcases lovemysalad.com - the movement coordinated by employees of Rijk Zwaan to positively change the image of vegetables through the mutual love of salad

11.35 - Chef's Inspiration
Remco de Boer, Director of Sous Fresh
Remco gives an overview of Sous Fresh's collaboration with Valstar to deliver The Chefs Inspiration Box, a monthly consignment filled with exciting and inspiring types of fruit and vegetables complete with all the necessary product information and recipes, designed especially for professional chefs to encourage them to include fresh produce on their menus
