The Fresh State Ball will be held on Saturday on 3 September 2016 and has even shifted to a new venue at the Peninsula located in the Melbourne Docklands precinct.
Fresh State represent wholesalers and associated businesses at the Melbourne Market and this year’s event will be the sixth consecutive Ball hosted by Fresh State for the market industry, with numbers increasing every year as its reputation grows.
"This year we wanted to mix things up a bit" said FSL President Shane Schnitzler. "With the huge growth and popularity of the Fresh State Ball, it was time to move it to a venue that could cater for the demand". Shane was also quick to add that the date had been strategically selected so that it did not clash with any AFL games. "Many of us are football mad down here at the market so we wanted to make sure we could enjoy a night out without checking footy scores".
Large numbers are again expected to attend this annual event and early table bookings are currently being reserved by astute wholesalers and industry groups who are after a prime position on the night. “We are encouraging businesses in the industry to save the date and get some tables together,” continued Shane. “This event is not only ideal for family and work colleagues but also a perfect platform for businesses to host their valued customers in the supply chain.”
