Looye Kwekers introduces a new tomato: Joyn. This kitchen tomato will replace the dream tomato. During the Libelle Summer Week, 23 May until 29 May, consumers can already taste it, and from 30 May the new tomato Joyn from Looye Kwekers is available at the better fresh specialists in the Netherlands.
“Joyn smells and tastes like we have (almost) forgotten tomatoes should smell and taste. Mild, beautiful and pure. This is what makes the Joyn perfect for using in the kitchen,” the company describes the new tomato. “Due to a good balance of sweet and sour this tomato brings out the best in every dish. Therefore: The Perfect Match.”
The kitchen tomato is supplied to (catering) wholesaler’s and fresh specialists. Joyn tomatoes are sold on vines, at 2.7 kilograms. Looye supports selling with consumer promotions, noticeable top cards and their own recipes on inspiring recipe cards.
During the Libelle Summer Week, Looye has a special Joyn stand where they can introduce visitors to Joyn tomatoes that have been processed into a fresh, tasteful gazpacho.
