Jan Klingele starts as new FEFCO President

On May 19, 2016, Dr. Jan Klingele, Managing Partner of Klingele Papierwerke started his two year term as FEFCO President, succeeding Roberto Villaquiran, who after four years had served the maximum possible time. Jean Paul Macharis, VPK, and Nina Iversen, Glomm Papp, were newly elected as Vice Presidents. Roberto Villaquiran, departing president, will continue to support Jan Klingele as Vice President.

“The Corrugated Industry has shown an overall annual market growth of 2% all over Europe, which is a fantastic result in times of economic and political turbulence,” says Klingele. “I want FEFCO to continue to demonstrate and convey the messages that Corrugated Packaging is best in class concerning robustness, hygiene, and environmental benefits and being a truly circular product. FEFCO should continue to disseminate these facts to a broad audience including politicians and customers because what counts most for them is the unequalled cost benefit ratio that corrugated offers. I am pleased and honoured to serve as President and to continue
the successful work that has been done over the years.”
