Yuexi County seeks new sales opportunities for their ginger

Yuexi County, located in Anhui province, has a rich history in ginger plantation, and in the process of cultivation, the local farmers never use increasing agents, which better preserves the original spicy flavor of their gingers. Next to this, Yuexi County is a national ecological demonstration city in China, which is very beneficial for cultivating good quality small turmeric.

"In the past, due to inconvenient transportation connections with Dabie Mountain, our ginger sales were not that promising. Now the highway has been built in the county, which brings a lot of conveniences for our ginger growers, followed by more business opportunities, because more and more clients can have easy access to our county and check our ginger quality before placing their orders," Explained Mr. Liu, the manager of Jiuhui Ginger Plantation Professional Cooperatives in Xuexi County.

"Our cooperativeswere registered on March 26, 2015, with an annual yield of more than 200 tons. Our small turmeric is listed in the markets every October. Currently the majority of our customers are from wholesale markets, and we offer both home delivery and long distance logistics services to our clients. Generally speaking, our ginger is either purchased directly after harvest, or are stored in warm cellars, which enables a longer storage period of time and offers a quality guarantee.
