Cherries with QR code

Cherry campaign Fraga has begun

The cherry campaign in Fraga has just begun, where, according to Manuel Navarro, partner and manager of the company Namifruits, "there has been no frost damage like in other Spanish production areas".

"Yesterday we started harvesting and exporting the first cherries of the Early Bigi variety, which are destined for the French market at high prices, similar to the prices in the last season," he stated.

For the second year, the Namisweet brand will have QR codes on their labels. "We provide consumers with all the possible information of our fruit through the QR code system that we implemented last season and in each package. With it, consumers can check from any mobile device the fruit's traceability, the harvest date, when it was handled in the packaging centers, in what plot it was grown, what techniques were used to grow it, and the fruit's characteristics, among other things," he added..
