Seminar Expoalimentaria- Peru Experience on May 19th in Rotterdam

The most important food fair in South America, the Expoalimentaria in Lima-Peru is just a few months away. With this big event ahead, the Trade Commission of Peru in the Netherlands is organizing the Seminar Expoalimentaria- Peru Experience at the Maritiem Museum in Rotterdam on Thursday, May 19th, 2016 from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

The purpose is to inform Dutch companies about “Doing business with Peru” and about the Expoalimentaria. During the Seminar companies like Eosta (Dutch importer of organic fruit) and Seatrade (a Dutch logistic services company) tell about their business experience in Peru. Furthermore, important institutions such as the Centre for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) and the Dutch Council for Trade Promotion (NCH) will highlight the trade opportunities for Dutch companies in Peru and their trade promotion programs.

The principal area of trade between Peru and the Netherlands lies in the food & agribusiness sector, which is why MVO Nederland will complement the presentations with a talk about the MVO Network Food & Agribusiness. This network involves companies which are working on sustainability in their company and/or sector. Finally, the guests will be able to network while enjoying typical Peruvian dishes and drinks.

In particular, companies in the fruits, vegetables, coffee, cocoa, and the logistics sector are invited to sign up for the seminar. You can register by sending an e-mail to Angelica Kroon at angelica.kroon@perutrade.nl. There are limited spaces and attendance is only possible after confirmed registration.
