The Asociación de Productores de Aguacate tipo exportación APATEX, harvest begins its 2016 season with excellent news; receiving the highest distinction as certified producers with the GlobalGap standard, option 2 under a Quality Management System.
APATEX, is an association of producers located in the Colombian region of Caldas, which after a major commitment, perseverance and vision of growth of agriculture in Colombia, have implemented plans to improve quality and process optimization harvest and post-harvest, which it has been reflected in a significant increase of production and quality of Hass avocados; all under environmentally friendly techniques and sustainable development.
For APATEX to achieve this, it has been essential to have the support and assistance given by the professional team of Fruexport Colombia, specializing in consulting business and technical assistance to farmers and agricultural enterprises in the process of improving agricultural production with a view to international certifications.
